March Spirit Dolls

I have been working with pine needles and peacock feathers.
The peacock is a majestic and mystical totem symbolizing inner wisdom.

Find a pine nearby. Inhale that special pine scent. Let you heart and spirit be invigorated and uplifted with the gifts of the pine. Let the green blessings of the Earth nourish you deeply.
 ~ Susan Weed

"I saw a green pine tree before me upon
entering the door, and a charcoal fire feeding the elixir of long life upon entering the room"

Pine trees are synonymous with integrity, purity, honor and long life. It has been said that The Taoist practice surviving only on pine needles to gain supernatural powers .

Peacock Feathers have a place in Greco Roman mythology, the feathers were symbolic of heaven, and the "eyes" of the stars. In the Hindu tradition, the peacock was associated with Lakshmi the Goddess of  compassion and good luck, very similar to Quan Yin in Asia and the Virgin Mary.

In antiquity Peacock feathers were used  for healing ceremonies, where they were used to assist people seeking harmony and balance.  They are said to carry Universal Healing Energy.
