The key to good luck in the kitchen?

"For centuries, Norwegians have hung a good witch in their kitchen. They believe she has the power to keep roasts from burning, pots from boiling over, and sauces from spilling."
kitchen witch, sometimes called a cottage witch or a "Scandinavian" kitchen witch doll, is a poppet  or homemade doll resembling a stereotypical witch or crone  displayed in residential kitchens  as a means to provide good luck and ward off bad spirits.
This is my interpretation of a little kitchen witch is supported by a whisk, wrapped with art yarn, her sweet face was handcrafted with polymer clay, she holds an old skeleton key.

KITCHEN GOOD WITCH

I imagine traditions are great to keep us connected to our roots, but the key to good luck in the kitchen is to do everything with love, that is why I added a small heart to her belt.  Enjoy your time while you browse around, and please email me if you are interested in prices, this little witch will be listed soon.
