A celebration to Frida Kahlo, my Muse, and Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Death)

“Feet, what do I need you for when I have wings to fly?”

~Frida Kahlo

Frida Kahlo is often the muse of artists, and subject of modern shrines/altars. Frida's  paintings often dealt with death and she also collected Day of the Dead images.  During Dia de los Muertos, public and private altars are often dedicated to Frida Kahlo inspired by her creative soul.

PBS on Frida, where you will find her story and works of art

Note: Some of these figures are still available, feel free to contact me for more information.
