I started two new dolls with wire, my intention was to make a small cage to support the body of the doll, but as it often happens, the doll took its own direction. I was going to leave it white, but the wire was blue.  I decided to do a wash with tones of blue and brown acrylics on top of the primer and come back with off white.

Beauty!

One of the things I love about your creations is the soul-depth feeling that each piece invokes.

Hugs,

Sue

She is lovely! =D

I always love how you incorporate so many little things into your dolls. I love all the charms, etc. that go in to making them. Like the kitty face on this one... It's like a tiny surprise you only see after you've stared at the larger doll for a bit. I love it! ^-^

I love placing moons and kittens on my dolls, this time I was thinking of my friend Dawn, she lost her beloved cat, (remember I made a special doll to be a companion when she was sent home) now, my daughter tells me they also lost one of their cats, she was 17 years old, and old lady for a cat...it felt sad, because she was the queen of the house, I used to call her Goddess Bast, even tho that was not her name.
